Darjeeling often called "The Queen of Hill
Stations" has preserved a wealth of arts and crafts having its
own peculiarity. The famous painted tankas, colourful woven apron,
knitted garments, copper and brush utensils of different sets and
forms with beautiful repousse work, craved wooden mask, decorative
bamboo work, Kalimpong bags etc., are the handicrafts products of
the Hill areas of Darjeeling. |
