The Great Indian Bazaar has many areas which can be freely accessed by any visitor.
Some are totally free, a few others may require free registration.
However, there are certain information/services that can be used by paid-members
only. These areas are called restricted areas/pages. Examples of restricted pages are
- Contact details of Overseas buyers, agents etc.
- Contact details of Overseas Retailers
- View complete record of overseas importer and transaction details
- Search Export Import Shipment Records
- Post messages in Bulletin Board
- etc.
To disallow non-members from using such member-only services - we have
placed this information is secure databases. Members can access
this information by using their user-id and password. All such use
is monitored closely by the server.
Please roam freely throughout The Great Indian Bazaar portal. Whenever you try to access a restricted page,
the system will inform you accordingly and present you a log-in window.
The log-in window will have following fields:
User-Id :
Password :
Please enter your user-id and password exactly the way given (e.g. if your
user id is 001944 please type 001944 NOT 1944 or 01944 or 00 1944).
Similarly please type password exactly the way given (i.e. lowercase with no space in
between).
In case you have forgotten password - please click 'Forget Password' link in log-in
window. You will be asked to provide your user-id. On typing your user-id, your password
will be sent to your registered as well as alternative e-mail addresses.
Once you have typed the user-id and password - please click 'Submit'
button. Restricted information (e.g. Buyer's contact details) will
be displayed on the screen. Use your browser's Back button to get
back and resume your work.
NOTE:
You will be asked for user-id and password only once during a browser
session (i.e. unless you close or exit the browser). Next time you
click for any other restricted information, the log-in window will
not appear.
However, for above to happen - you need to keep Cookie option of your browser
enabled (usually a default browser setting).
Every time you access a restricted page - your download quota gets reduced
by 1. Remember, you can download a fixed number of restricted pages
every month. Please see FAQ on 'Membership Services' for details. The log-in
window of a Restricted Page has the tile 'Restricted Page - Membership Required'
Members' Control Panel requires log-in using user-id and password. You
manage various membership services (e.g. change company profile,
post in Bulletin Board, create Business Homepage etc.) from Members'
Control Panel. Remember - there is no limit on accessing Members'
Control Panel. Your download quota does not get reduced
when you access Member's Control Panel. |
