What is Download Quota ? Download quota allows you to view restricted pages such as contact details of overseas buyers, agents etc. It also helps you download from various databases such as export import shipment records etc. This facility is reserved for paid members who receive download quota in their account every month. However, free members or non-members can buy download quota and use membership services for a limited period.

How to use Download Quota ? The Great Indian Bazaar has large sections which are free to access, no membership or even registration is required for most pages of the portal. However, there are several areas where access is restricted for members only. Examples of such restricted pages are contact details of overseas buyers, contact details of overseas agent/ distributors, country profiles, export import shipment records, export market statistics etc. Anyone, trying to access such restricted pages, gets a log-in window asking for user-id and password. Members access such pages by entering user-id and password. The system requires user-id and password only once during one browser session, though downloads are counted for access to every restricted page.

How Much Download Quota ? Download quota represents number of times a member can access a restricted page (i.e. download a restricted page) and depends upon membership level. On 1st day of every month - a fixed number of download quota is added to every paid memnber's account. At month end - if any download quota remains unused - it gets carried forward to next month. If download quota gets exhausted, members can buy additional download quota at 50% discount or wait for replenishment of their account next month

Those who are not members of The Great Indian bazaar but still want to use some membership services for a limited period - may buy download quota. Buying download quota allows them to use membership services for a limited period

Following is the Monthly Quota of maximum number of downloads for various membership categories:

As stated earlier, we add above quota in each member's account on first day of every month. If a member does not use-up his/her download quota for the month, the un-used part gets carried forward to next month. For example, if you are in 'Member Premium' category and have a download quota of 50 downloads in April but used only 20 during the month, you carry forward 50 - 20 = 30 extra downloads next month. Your download quota for May will be 50 + 30 = 80.

Free members and non-members, who buy download quota, enjoy a validity period of 60 days after which all unused download quota gets cancelled. However, if they buy fresh lot before expiry of existing lot, unused download quota from existing lot will be carried forward to fresh lot. There is no upward limit for buying download quota.

Paid members who use-up all download quota before end of the month, will have to wait for next month when fresh download quota will be added to their download accounts or Buy additional download quota at 50% discount. Alternatively, members may go for upgrading membership level and enjoy higher download quota every month.

You can check your download quota position (available and used) from Members' Control Panel . Please log-in using your user-id/password and click at 'My Profile'

IMPORTANT : Download quota is applicable only when accessing restricted page. The log-in window for such restricted pages has a title 'Restricted Page - Membership Required". It is NOT APPLICABLE for accessing Member's Control Panel, posting in Bulletin Board, creating Homepage or any other membership services.
