There are several reasons why a free membership is sometimes blocked for
administrative reasons. These are:
- Non-Functional E-mail
- As Requested by Member
- Wrong/incomplete/misleading information in Member Profile
- Misuse of Membership Facilities
Non-Functional E-mail E-mails play a very important role in
business communication. Consequently, we never allow
any member profile with non-functional e-mail. Whenever any member's e-mail responds with
5xx error code (hard bounce) - we de-activate the membership account to avoid any more
bounced e-mails. For soft bounce (e.g. mail box quota exceeded) - we allow upto a maximum
of 3 consecutive bounces, after which concerned membership account gets de-activated
As Requested by Member We respect valid membership de-activate requests
by de-activating concerned membership accounts immediately. Any de-activation request coming
from registered e-mail address of a member is considered valid. If you receive unexpected
'membership de-activation' message - please check within your organization if anyone has
requested de-activation.
Wrong/incomplete/misleading information in Member Profile
We follow a zero-tolerance policy towards members who submit wrong, misleading or
incomplete information about their organization. Submission of such wrong, misleading
or incomplete information, deliberate or unintentional, is against 'User Agreement'
and 'Terms of Use' of the website infobanc.com. Please exercise caution while
submitting information in Membership Registration Form and other such information
submission services.
Misuse of Membership Facilities
Visitors and members, who try to mis-use free or paid membership services, are
summarily removed from active list and blocked from future use of our web-site.
Examples of misuse are spamming, using robots to fill-up buy/sell/biz or other
forms, hacking, posting fraud messages on lottery winning, illegal money transfer,
Nigerian scam etc.
