Rice Export surges ahead from East Coast |
| East coast ports especially Kakinada is doing extremely well in rice exports. Kakinanda port has already exported over a million tonnes till now and is expected to ship as much during rest of this financial year. In fact, its continuation of a trend started last year when large amount of rice was exported through Kakinada. It seems adverse balance in Rupee - Dollar exchange has not been able to dent rice exporters' enthusiasm. |
