Sub: Sun flower oil – suppliers
Kindly request to supply us with sun flower oil according
to the following:
Quantity: 10000 tons (Ten thousand tons)
Price: In us dollar – for per M/Ton – CIF
Payment: By opening L/C in favor of the supplier
Delivery point: Umm Qasser port (south Iraq).
Delivery Period: (45) Day, from the date of opening the L/C.
Specifications: The physical test:-
The product must have its smell and taste, free from
rancidity or any strange taste or smell.
The product should be clear, free from foreign matter.
The product should be free from any fats or animal oil .
The product should be free from any solvents that used
during extraction.
The Chemical Tests:
The specific density (at 20 c) 0.918 – 0.923
The refractive index (at 40 c) 1.467 – 1.469
Iodine value (wigs) 110 – 143
The specification value (mg koh / gm oil) 188 – 194
The unsaponifible matter % 1. 5 (max)
Peroxide value max . 10 (equivalent / kg oil)
The acidity {( mg koh ) gm oil } crude oil 4 un crude oil 0.6
Coloring materials: it’s allowed to add:
Beta-carotene according to the good manufacturing product
According to the good manufacturing products
Calcimine according to the good manufacturing products
9 Flavors: It’s allowed to add natural flavors or the artificial
flavors that is able to use internationally .
10 Anti Oxidant.
A – Bht ] 200 mg / k g individually
B – Bha
C–Mixture of Bht, Bha 200 Mg / Kg but the agate should not
exceed 100 m/kg
11 The anti foaming agent: -
A. Dim ethyl poly Cyloxine 10 mg / kg individually or as mixture
with Disilicon oxide
B. Dim ethyl cyloxine
12 - Anti crystallization: -
- Oxystearin 1250 MG / KG
13 - Contamination:
A. Voltaic Matter at 105 C % Mass 0. 2 Max.
B. UN Soluble Impurities % Mass 0. 5 Max.

Hygiene: The product should be fit for human consumption.
Radiation Test: The radioactive concentration residue should
be within local limits ( 240 – 280 ) bq / kg .
Labeling
Name of product.
Name of producer or the exporter name and address.
Net weight in international unit.
The production and expiry date.
The origin.
The indent number.
Packing:
The product must be packed in suitable plastic bottled
needed in 1L, 2L .
Shipment by sealed containers.
Equivalent weight in liters must also be printed on the bottles.
Each plastic bottle should be durable and strong and
suitable for export to prevent any leaking.
Marking: The following will be clearly marked on each
bottle and carton “Iraq Ministry of Trade\" Commodity
Name Gross and Net weight Date of Production Expiry Date.
