We invite you to check our calendar line shown on our website
to see our substantial catalogue built over the last 10 years.
We are looking at moving our line to a new supplier who is
an experience calendar manufacturer. The manufacturer that
we seek will have their own printing and bindery operations,
and all operations will be done in house. We are not interested
in working with a broker or trade facility.
We have detailed specifications and run quantities of 61 of
the titles (based on last year) and will average the run of the
12 new calendars for 2009 (to be printed in April-May 2007).
12 x 13 inch finished size wall calendars, 34 titles with a
total print of 294,700 pieces. These are the quantities: 26000,
21600, 21500, 18500, 17000, 16000, 15000, 14700, 13000,
11000, 10000, 9200, 9200, 9000, 7700, 7500, 7000,
7000, 7000, 6500, 5500, 5500, 5500, 5500, 4500, 4500,

Prepress: 2 sets of one round digital colour proofs,
Cover: 4 pages, 250gsm C2S Cover stock, printed
CMYK plus gloss UV / CMYK,
Text: 24 pages, 140gsm gloss coated 2 sides, printed
CMYK / CMYK,
Bindery: 2 wire saddle stitched on the 13 inch side,
individually shrink wrapped with a b flute stiffener
placed in the center spread,
Drill one hole for hanging,
Pack in 50\'s in a double walled corrugated box, and palletized,
Zebra to supply digital files and laser proof.

total print of 285,800

CMYK plus gloss UV / CMYK,
Text: 24 pages, 157gsm gloss coated 2 sides,
printed CMYK / CMYK,
Bindery: 2 wire saddle stitched on 13.325 inch side,
Drill one hole for hanging,
Pack individually in a printed card envelope with
these specifications:
Card is 310gsm C2S Cover stock, printed CMYK plus gloss UV,
folded and glued with a flap that is not glued, but is tucked into
the envelope with slits one the left and the right,
Zebra to supply digital files and laser proof.
We need the printing to be done in about six months (April-
May 2008). We need to firm up a contract within 60 days
so you can start scheduling your plant for this project, and
for buying paper.
Shipping by sea to Los Angeles USA port
Your price needs to be the landed price in USA dollars,
including taxes and duty, if any, and all brokerage and customs
fees both in your country and in the USA.
Please, only experienced calendar manufacturers will be
considered. If you do not currently print at least 25 titles, please
do not respond to our notice here.
We will need at least two current sample calendars for our
review. Do not send samples now. If you are one of the three
finalists, we will ask for samples at that time. Finally, We would
like to have pricing and contracts in place within 60 days.
The sooner the better.
