Seamless Pipe & Tube
01- Technical Inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the material
supplied are fully in compliance with the purchase order specification,
reference standards and technical data.
02- Verification of QA plan and checking mill and QC system.
03- Visual & Dimensional Checks.
04- Mill Test Certificate to be verified and reviewed.
05- Physical, mechanical and chemical properties to be witness tested as
per relevant std.
06- Gauges, threads, tolerances, bevels, thread/ bevel protector, straightness,
ovality and wall thickness uniformity, to be checked.
07- Monitor N.D. test on body acc. to relevant Std and required supplementary
spec.
08- Witness hydrostatic / eddy current test in accordance with specification.
09- Heat treatment charts and/ or certificates to be verified and reviewed.
10- Checking the material to be free from corrosion (scattered pitting, scale
and etc.) and mechanical deformation.
11- Witness packing, marking & loading ex- works and on vessel/ truck.
12- Progress reports to be issued each month.
13- Issue Certificate & Detailed inspection report.
