Description :

We are interested in buying efficient gear reducer; 150:1,
mounts to 83% efficient DC motor, used in portable
transportation equipment

Details and properties:

>90% efficiency is required
240 W DC motor with 12 VDC @ 20 A
Continuous is 196W x 150:1 ratio (estimated ratio of gear reducer)
Produces > 50 ftlb torque for 1 minute
Produces > 250 ftlb torque for 1 second with 12VDC @100A
Very low duty cycle, used 15 minutes per day with minimum 30 minute
rest period
Used at most 60 hours per year.
Used in outdoor application, IP66 or sealed.
Total DC gear motor package is less than 17 lbs.
DC brake motor weighs about 8 lbs, so gear reducer weighs about 10 lbs

We do not care if the reducer is in-line or right angle. We do not
care if reducer is planetary, helical, parallel in-line, hypoid or other style
gear reducer. Only needs to meet efficiency and weight requirements.
We would prefer an aluminum housing for environmental concerns.
