Specifications for insulating mat:-
1) Scope: High voltage insulating safety mat with ISI mark for electrical
Panels.
2) Applicable standards:
Is: 15652-2006: insulating mats for electrical purposes specification
3) Technical requirements:
Required quantity: 40 sq. Meter
(To be supplied in 2 rolls each one of 1 meter width and 20 meter length)
Colour: Blue without metallic derivatives
Thickness: 2.0 mm suitable up to 3.3kv
Class: A
Tensile strength: 15 n/mm2 and above
Elongation: 250 0% and above
Insulation resistance: 1000000 mî©
Dielectric strength: 30kv ac (RMS)
Effect of fire: extinguish in 5 second
Effect of acid, alkali, diesel & transformer oil: tensile strength and
elongation at break, when measured after subjecting the mat to
conditioning as per is 15652 shall not be less than 80% of corresponding
value obtained in test carried out on samples from same batch without
conditioning
Ageing test: Tensile strength and elongation at break, when measured after
subjecting the mat to ageing for 168h at 70 1 degree c as per is-15652
shall not be less than 75% of original value obtained for un aged
pieces from the same lot
leakage current test in oil: 10ma
