Scope, References & Manufacturers Accreditation
The evaluation and selection of Manufacturer(s) shall be based on
their ability to meet the following requirements:
1.1 The Manufacturer(s) shall possess their quality manual,
the quality system implementation and test plans. Fulfillment of these
requirements of the Manufacturer(s) shall be accredited by a recognized
authority to ISO 9001/ ISO 9002/BS 5750: Part-I/EN 29001/EN 29002.
1.2 The valid certificate of accreditation by a recognized authority to
ISO 9001/ ISO 9002/BS 5750: Part-I/EN 29001/EN 29002 must be
submitted along with the Bid as a requirement, among others as specified
under Clause-19.2 of Sec-I (Instruction to Bidder). Bids without
accompanying the above valid certificates of the Manufacturer(s) shall be
treated as non-responsive.
Technical specification:
This positive displacement type of gas meter shall be used for the fiscal
measurement of Sweet Natural Gas having Molecular Weight 17.3,
Specific Gravity 0.6 (air = 1.0) and water content not more than
7lbs/MMSCF and condensate not more than 2 US gallons per MMSCF.
It shall meet the following operating conditions and requirements.
1.0 Operating Conditions :
1.1 Maximum Working Pressure : 300 mbarg for G-2.5 to G-6
500 mbarg for G-10 to G-25
1.2 Operating Temperature : 00 C to 500 C
1.3 Total Pressure loss : 2 mbarg
1.4 Relative Humidity : 98% at 300 C
2.0 Material Requirements :
2.1 Body/Case Material : Steel (Pressed Tin plated)/Die Cast Aluminium.
2.2 Diaphragm material : Synthetic material having withstanding capability
to handle the fluid mentioned above.
2.3 Spud Connection Material : Shall conform to the appropriate material in
line with the body/case material.
3.0 Configuration of the meter Body :
i) Body halves must be folded to form hermetically sealed joint at its
halves.
ii) Meter body should be properly sealed to make it tamper proof.
iii) Fire safe design to be maintained as pr applicable international code.
